The mission and shared organizational values here at 5CHC are statements of our purpose and value as an organization, what we believe in, and how we operate both internally and with our clients. It is the volunteers, community partners and staff who are fundamental in our efforts to provide quality services and embrace the organization’s values. Aiding those who are homeless and in need are always our primary focus.
It is the mission of the 5CHC to strengthen our community by providing resources, support and hope to those who are homeless and facing poverty in San Luis Obispo County.
Our work at 5Cities Homeless Coalition is guided through the following “RITE” values, as we strive to best serve our community.

As homelessness grows, the need for what we provide grows, too. Together, we are focused on changing lives and bettering our community. As an employee of 5Cities Homeless Coalition, you don’t just become a part of an important team, you become a member of the family. We take pride in how we serve our neighbors and support each other. All of our actions are lead with compassion and understanding, especially for those who need it most. We work hard to provide end to end support for our clients, fulfill basic needs, and offer support where ever its needed in the spirit of human kindness and grace.
