Tickets are now on sale for the 5Cities Homeless Coalition 4th Annual Empty Bowls Community Luncheon happening Thursday, September 24, 2014 from 11:30 am to 2:00 pm at St. Patrick’s Church Parish Hall in Arroyo Grande.

For a $25 donation you choose a handcrafted bowl made by area artists and then enjoy a simple meal of soup and bread donated by the region’s best chefs. Enjoy the meal, keep the bowl and know you have helped to make a difference. Your donation will support the work of the 5Cities Homeless Coalition to house and serve homeless families in South County. You give. We act. Families find homes and hope.
Come any time between 11:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. to enjoy your lunch. If you’re in a hurry take out is also available. This wonderful collaborative event is being held to raise awareness of homelessness in our community. It brings local artists, restaurants, businesses and community members together to support the 5Cities Homeless Coalition in its work to help the homeless and those facing poverty in the South County area. From clam chowder to spicy tortilla, soups for every palate are served by our area’s top celebrities, all for a good cause! With the support of over 50 volunteers, 30 artists, and more than 50 restaurants, sponsors and supporting businesses, virtually every aspect of this event is supported by our community.
