A Collaboration to End Homelessness
The 5Cities Homeless Coalition is continually working with local service providers, the faith community, service groups, and community leaders to assess current services and opportunities for collaboration to provide for immediate needs (not currently being met) that lead toward self-sufficiency. Below is an updated compilation of resources available in southern San Luis Obispo County.

Children’s Resource Network of the Central Coast
Free clothing, school supplies, books diapers, and basic resources for children ages newborn to eighteen.
Request can be made by calling hotline numbers or through “Place A Request” form located on the home page of their website. Walk-in hours are also available on certain days.
- Children’s Closet: Walk-in hours from 2-4pm on Tuesdays.
- Teen’s Closet: CLOSET AVAILABLE THE THIRD WEEK OF EACH MONTH (TUESDAY-FRIDAY) Open for walk-ins during the SLO Food Bank distributions on Fridays from 2:30pm-4:30pm.
