Programs and services that are addressing homelessness and affordable housing across the Central Coast will scale, helping more people chart a path toward economic opportunity with help from multi-year grants from Bank of America. 5Cities Homeless Coalition has been named 2022 Bank of America Neighborhood Champions for their work removing economic barriers and advancing economic opportunity.
The City of Grover Beach continues to take meaningful action to address homelessness in our community in partnership with other agencies. The construction of the temporary emergency housing on County property at 16th Street and Long Branch Avenue in Grover Beach is complete and the facility opened during the last week of 2022.
The Coalition’s mission to help those who are homeless or facing homelessness incorporates three pillars: resources, support and hope. Each is key to improving the personal well-being of our clients as well as strengthening our broader community.Donate Now
